Reliability And Validity Studies Reliability and validity studies were originally done in the early 1990's on a database of 300 church staff profiles. These staff were scattered all across the United States. They were primarily from EFCA, Bible, and Independent Evangelical Churches. Coefficient alpha was used to evaluate each construct. Pearsons Rho was used to measure each element. Of the 99 elements, 23 were found to be inappropriately low correlation coefficients. These questions were all adjusted so as to receive high coefficients. Today, with internet applications, the norms for the Ministry Match are recalculated frequently as new persons are added. We are well aware that different denominations have distinctive Ministry Match Profiles. However, time and money have kept us from defining these as yet.
